A/ The best way to keep your oven clean is to practice prevention.wipe up any spills as soon as they occur, if the spills are allowed to dry they become more difficult to clean so wipe your oven around with warm water and fairy liquid as soon as the spills happen.Even if you are vigilant in keeping your oven clean and protecting against spillage at some point you will need to have your oven professionally deep cleaned.

A/ Well it’s a dirty job so why do it yourself? It is one of the most hated chores around the home, but a necessary one , We make sure we do a great job on your oven we put in the elbow grease and hard work to make sure we get a great end result.

Q/ Can you explain the process?
A/ Sure , We arrive at your house in our company vehicle we will calculate the price of the job before we start work. We then remove racks, pans, trays, and any other removable items like the back plate and fan blade if applicable. We take all removable parts outside to our van mounted dip tank where we place everything inside our tank and leave for 30 minutes. We then return to the oven and manually clean the carcass using our special formulated paste and some hard work to remove all signs of carbon and fatty deposits. All parts are then reassembled and that is the oven cleaning process.

Q/ How often will I need my oven professionally cleaned?
A/ That depends on how often the oven is used and what is cooked in it, an oven that is regularly used to cook fatty meats will need more regular cleans than an oven that is perhaps used once a week to make a vegetarian dish or cook ready meals. We recommend every year for a deep clean but its up to you to decide, we will be happy to accommodate our next visit to suit you.

The Cleaning Of Self Clean Ovens.
Often a question asked can we clean self clean ovens or should we follow the manufactures instruction booklet and let the oven do its thing.Well we come back that question a little later on. But first what is a self clean oven?Self clean ovens have a special side coat called a pyrolytic ground coat or a Teflon coating inside the oven and at a very high temp the oven will burn off all the residue build up on the sides and base of the oven. The pros and cons to a self clean oven are as follows,1, Standard self clean oven will allow you to clean your own oven without having to get down on your hands and knees ,hosing the inside of the oven with a cleaner and putting a facemask on to keep from breathing in the fumes also kinder on the back, buttocks, and arms not to mention the sinuses.Self cleaning oven instructions vary slightly from model to model so always consult the correct instructional manual for specific directions for your particular model. The cons of a self cleaning oven,1, The pyrolytic ground coat will require a high temp of around 500 c or 932 f which will use a large amount of energy typically the oven will need to be running for around 3 hrs
2, The high heat will reduce the residue to ash but will still need to be wiped out once the oven has cooled down
3, The self cleaning system will not clean the Roof area /door/and racks/and behind the back panel .
4,With the high temperature required this may cause the following /burning/smoke/a smell like barbecued road kill especially while burning off thick layers of grime.also you may find your smoke alarms continuously going off.The burn off process becomes less effective as your oven becomes older.
So I think that bring our conclusion to an end and we think it is much better to employ a professional oven cleaner namely Apple Oven Clean to help with your oven cleaning requirements we clean self clean ovens all the time we use a slightly different method of clean for pyrolytic sides but with the same amazing results as every other clean you will be more the happy you have chosen Apple Oven Clean.

How To Find Your Cooker Serial Number
There are a couple of occasions when it pays to know where to find your cooker serial number; firstly, when establishing the age, make or model of your appliance, and secondly, if you experience a problem with your cooker and need to call out a professional engineer. If you can provide this number to the customer services agent when you call, it can greatly facilitate the problem resolution and ensure that your favourite kitchen appliance is up and working again in no time!
Our local Engineer Can Help
To find the serial number of your oven or cooker, look firstly inside the oven door for an obvious sticker. This may also be located on the oven body when you open the door up. Failing that, ask someone strong to pull out the cooker or oven and check for a label on the back of the appliance. If you have your user manual to hand, you may wish to check this first to confirm the location before you start hauling kitchen equipment around!
In fact, one of the best things you can do when installing a new cooker or oven is to make a note of the serial number at the time – particularly if the sticker is located on the unit’s reverse! Add the serial number to the manufacturer’s user manual, and store this together safely with the service record and warranty information for easy access. It’s also worth noting down the contact number just for extra peace of mind and speedy fault resolution if required!
